How do I try out the Microsoft Security Essentials Beta?

Thanks for your interest in the Microsoft Security Essentials Beta program. The Beta is currently closed for new users.

You can download the latest version from the Security Essentials website to protect your PC.

The Beta program is for the next major release of Security Essentials which will be released after the Beta program ends. If you want to get this version before everyone else, sign up for the beta today:

We anticipate the Microsoft Security Essentials Beta to be available by the end of the year.

Will availabilty be geographicaly specific similarly to v.2 beta?
My first computer was a Commodore 63(1963) E-mail was twice as fast as regular mail.

ok i went to the site and it states it will notifiy you by email : It is in the  Microsoft Connect

If you were registered with Microsoft Connect for the v.2 Beta you should have received an invitaion.
