MSE reply with link to KB article + 5-10 days of inactivity = automatic "Answer". (it doesn't have to actually work).
I no longer waste time bothering to read it, since it is unlikely to be the answer.
A Support Engineer "Answer" that begins with the word "Hi" is extremely unlikely to be an answer - or useful.
MSEs are "right" less than one half of one percent of the time (00.387%). 99.63% are wild goose chases. I think it is just luck that they have once in a great while. Not very good for a Microsoft Support Engineer.
If there is reply in a thread from a MSE and it is marked as the "Answer", chances are it did not work and it never will work. I will no longer look at them, and they are perfect for deletion sans reading.
MS Answers Forum Moderators will mark just about anything as the answer after 5-10 days as long as the reply is from a Microsoft Support Engineer and there is a link to a Microsoft KB article - then it IS the answer.
