Recover autosave files - not listed in destination folder
My wife worked on a word document for several hours today but never saved it. Autosave is activated every 10 minutes but the destination folder contains no files. Is there any way to recover the document at this point?
There is no autosave in Word. There is only the saving of autorecover information which allows Word to (sometimes) recover in the event of a crash. If the document is closed without saving then there is nothing to recover. Working for hours on a document
without ever saving it is reckless and the result often what your wife has experienced.
