Hello! i would like to ask you one question about MS Word.
I want to restrict some pages of word but allow the user be able to edit header and footer (Header and footer not different from one page to another).

After i use restrict option the pages that i want to block are block but it's include Header and Footer too, that is go away from what i want.

You need to use the "No Changes Read Only" method of restriction and define the header and footer range as a editable region.

You can do this in Word 2007. Open the header view and select the part that you want to allow editing of. Then from the Restrict formatting and editing dialog, check the no changes check box. Finally in the exceptions section, check 'Everyone'. It might help if you put a test content control in the header to select.

This will allow anyone to edit the selected header, but not the body of the document.

I give in. I cannot imagine a document that only allows editing in the header. There must be a better way of using the document than this?
