Excel Title Bar [Group]

In the Excel Title Bar the word "[Group]" has appeared after the file name and the options of the DATA tab is unavailable. How was the added and how can it be removed so that the option in the DATA tab are available.
Answer
Answer
If you have more than one sheet tab selected at the same time...
Example:
• Select Sheet1
• Hold down the CTRL key and select Sheet3
...Now that both sheets are selected, [Group] displays

That is Excel's way of warning you that any change you make
to one of the selected sheets will ALSO be made to the other selected sheets.

When sheets are grouped, the DATA menu items that are disabled apply to
a specific sheet.  Consequently, they can not be implemented to grouped sheets.

To UN-group the sheets:
• Right-click on the sheet tab....Select: Ungroup.

Does that help?
