Can't print Word documents on wireless printer

I have connected a new printer HP wireless 3520) (which will print from the email messages but not from my Word Documents on my laptop?  What am I doing wrong?

When you select Print from the File menu, do you see the Printer in the Name: control of the Print dialog?

If so, what appears against the Status: item below that, and also against the Where: item?

What happens if you click on the Find Printer . . . button?

See “How to troubleshoot print failures in Word” at:

With almost every new version of Office, it has often been necessary to obtain updated drivers for some HP Printers.  With Office XP, which was released more than 10 years ago, your situation maybe similar, but the reverse - the printer driver does not support earlier versions of Office.

As a work around, you could download the free Primo PDF converter which will install itself as a printer and then use that to "print" your documents to a pdf file and to then open that file in Adobe Reader and try printing it to your printer.

Hope this helps,

I've tried everything and stumbled upon this fix.

Ensure that you are able to access your temp folder located at the following:

C:\Users\*Name\AppData\Local\Temp

Make sure that the security rights are enabled.

Note:   Prior to this, the installation was unable to access the information in the temp folder to properly install.
