Word Document on iPad not opening?

I had worked on an assignment for uni which i had all typed on microsoft word on my ipad air

but now whenever I try to open it, it starts to download but then straightaway says that the file has either moved or deleted - however I cannot find it anywhere on the app or onedrive (which is where i saved it), not even the recycle bin. Help?

this is happening to me as well... i think its an issue w/ the app and they better damn well fix it because i did NOT just do this homework for nothing...

I'm having the same problem. My powerpoint and excel apps downloaded instantly when the March 12 update happened. My word app won't load, can't be deleted and I can't find it in settings either. Anyone else with this problem? I'm about to throw my iPad through the window.

This worked for me.

Go to App Store, check if word requests an update, press update. Once updated, ta daaaaa opened no problem
