Support for custom fonts in Word for iPad

We use a custom font in our company which is not available on the iPad by default. We have therefore installed it using a configuration profile and can use it now in Apple's Pages app. This is possible since iOS 7 (more information here: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/featuredarticles/iPhoneConfigurationProfileRef/Introduction/Introduction.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40010206-CH1-SW43).

There is also an app on the App Store called "AnyFont" which lets you install new fonts directly from the device, and the installed font shows up perfectly in Apple's Pages but it does not appear in Word for iPad. We desperately need that font for our work, so please add support for custom installed fonts soon! Are there any plans to do so or am I missing something?

Where can I submit feature requests for Word for iPad?

Hi,

I am the developer of the popular AnyFont iOS app which does exactly what is described in the original question - installing custom fonts in an iOS device to use them in other apps like Pages or Keynote. I get a lot of requests to enable the Office for iPad apps to make use of the installed fonts. Actually they are there, it's just that the Office apps currently don't access them. It would be great if you could make them compatible with those custom fonts. If there is something we should talk about to do so, please contact me.

I agree, I was surprised to find out that Word as the premier word processor would not support custom fonts (such as those installed via AnyFont). Please consider adding this in a future update. Thanks!

I also have this issue with a corporate font, the office iPad apps and AnyFont. Please fix ASAP.

They said they added support for this in the version prior to the current one. I haven't tested it out yet, but I assumed it would work the next time I need it.
