Inserting math/scientific symbols in Office 365 Word app

I have an Office 365 small business premium subscription and am trying to use the Word App on my ipad to edit scientific documents.  But I can't find a way to insert mathematical, Latin, Greek and other international symbols like the one for less than or equal to, degrees, microliter, etc.  How to I gain access to the full list of symbols to insert?

Unfortunately, the current version of Word for iPad does not support displaying a list of symbols to insert into your document. If you have content in your clipboard that you've copied from another location, you should be able to paste it into Word.
