Word - office 365 - picture styles

Word helpfully offers a menu of one click picture styles when a picture is selected, however none of them match the style I use all the time - is there any way  to add a picture style to the offered menu?

I have a macro - but adding a style seems to make a lot more sense...

Sorry, there isn't any way I've found to add new effect combinations to the gallery. You can workaround this in a backwards way, though:

  1. Format a picture using your preferred combination of effects.
  2. With the photo still selected, click on INSERT>Quick Parts.
  3. Choose Save Selection to Quick Parts Gallery.
  4. Give it a name and click OK.

In day-to-day use:

  1. Choose Insert>Quick Parts
  2. Click on your formatted picture to insert it.
  3. Right-click on the picture and choose Change Picture.
  4. Select the picture and click on OK. The new picture takes on the same formatting effects.
