Recently Used Fonts not displaying initially in drop down box

Since starting with Office 365, I have noticed that Word, Publisher & OneNote do not display Recently Used Fonts in the drop down box when choosing a font.  See image below so you know what I am talking about.

In office 2010, I used to be able to click on font and the recently used fonts was always the first thing displayed and then you could scroll down to choose another font if need be.  Now, when clicking on font, I am automatically taken to Calibri and I have to scroll back up to the recently used fonts.  It's more annoying and time consuming really, but is anyone else having this issue and found out what to do?  I have called tech support and the only answer they had was to change the default font.

When selecting a font I get this above & have to scroll up,  ......

I want this.  The recently used fonts to be at the top of the font drop down box.

Hi Cole,

Let me help you with the issue.

This possible cause for this issue is that if the printer drivers are not compatible with the Office suite.

To check if the issue is due to printer drivers, let us change the default printer to OneNote or Microsoft XPS writer following the steps from the link below and then check if the fonts appear in the Recently used fonts:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/set-change-your-default-printer

In order to update your printer drivers, contact the printer manufacturer.

If the printer drivers are up to date, then repair Office 365 suite by performing Quick repair following the steps from the link below and then check if the Recently Used Fonts appear:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2769349/en-us

Let us know the results for further assistance.

Thank you.

Hi Aravinda

Thanks for trying to help.

I changed the default printer and still had the same problem.

I repaired Office but still have the same problem.

Any other ideas?

I have exactly the same issue.  It is such a waste of time having to scroll up with each font change.  Hope we can get a resolution for this issue
