Hello,
Let us try the following steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue:
Step 1:
Restart the computer and then try performing a repair of Office installation. Refer to the following link for more information on how to repair Office 2013/365.

Step 2:
Stop and start or restart
Microsoft Office Service following below mentioned instructions and verify
the result:
1. Hold
Windows key +R.
Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:
services.msc
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
2. In the Services list, double-click Microsoft Office Service.
3. In the Windows Installer Properties dialog box, click Automatic
in the Startup type list.
4. Click Start, click Apply, and then click OK.
Step 3:
Run the Fix it from the following article to remove all traces of the new Office on the system.

Once the Fix it completes then may you install Office 365 and verify the results.
