Office 2013 - Error "Cannot download the selected picture"

Just installed Office 365 Home Premium, and cannot insert any picture from Office.Com Clip Art.  Just keep getting the error message "Sorry we couldn't download the picture you selected"


Can anyone help get around this?


I am running Office 365 Home Premium on Windows 7, with IE 11 installed.  I still have Office 2007 installed if that is relevant to the issue.

Hi Bob,

 

Are you going to use the Office 2007?

 

If not, then you may uninstall the Office 2007 and check if it helps.

 

If the issue still persists, then try removing and re-installing the Office and verify the results.

Once Office is removed, go this link http://www.office.com/myaccount to reinstall Office on the same PC.

I will try uninstalling Office 2007 then.  What is the best way to do this - use Uninstall from the Control Panel?

I used the Fix It to uninstall Office 2007, then used Online Repair on Office 365, which solved the issue with templates but not with downloading Online Pictures.  However I then did a 'Restart' on the laptop which seems to have resolved  the issue with downloading pictures.  All seems OK now - thanks for your help.


However, I must ask if Microsoft actually tested Office 365 install when the user already has a previous Office suite installed?  It would have showed up these issues I had surely?
