Endnote web

I can't get endnote web to connect to my word documents. Can open it separately, but no icon appears within the toolbar when I am in a document. All the required plug-ins have been installed to the computer, and it works fine on my netpad. Any suggestions anyone? Please!

We are not aware if the Endnote software is compatible with Windows 8 Operating System and Microsoft Office.

So it would be best you get in touch with EndNote support to know more information regarding this issue.

Thank you. It seems endnote is not compatible with windows8/word 2013. Any suggestions anyone?

Is it possible to uninstall word 2013 and install word 2007 or 2010? Would that work?

Can we run an older version of word alongside office 365, or will we have to uninstall 365 or just the word component of it?

Hi,

We resolved the issue by uninstalling office 2013 and installing office 2010. It is now working and compatible with windows 8. To confirm, Endnote web is not compatible with Office 2013.
