Email attachment will not open in Word

I use Incredimail as my email provider.  Works very well except when I recieve an email with an attachment that is a Word document.  When I try to open it, I get an error message that tells me that Word has to be repaired before I can open the file.  If I save the file it can then be opened.  What a pain.

Thank you for replying.

Try the following and verify the result:

1) Disable protected view and verify the result.

a) Open Word 2013 and click on File > Options
b) And then on Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Protected View and uncheck the the below options:
Enable Protected View for files originating from the Internet
Enable Protected View for files located in potentially unsafe locations.
c) OK > OK and then try viewing the Word attachment in Outlook and verify the result.

2) Save the file on desktop and right click on Word Document > Properties > Unblock > OK and then try opening the attachment and verify the result.
