'Document not saved'

I have recently purchased a copy of Office 365.  However when I attempt to save or exit a Word 2013 document I have been editing I receive an error message "Word did not save the document".  I am attempting to save the document to my OneDrive.

This seems to be an intermittent fault as sometimes documents do save both while I am working and when exiting.

As the issue occurs intermittently, it is difficult to analyze what could be the cause for the issue.

             

Does the issue occurs only when trying to save to ‘OneDrive’?

Does the issue occurs only with Word program?

Next time you face the issue, try to upload the documents directly from the SkyDrive not from application and check how it works.

The problem has now resolved itself.  I don't know how or why.  Everything is working perfectly now.

One curious thing I discovered was that when I received the error message if I selected 'Do not save' and exited a document when I reopened it the changes had been saved.  Thus I seemed to have been receiving some sort of false error message.

I have troubled with saving document also recently. Everytime I save document to hardrive, it didn't save and keep restarting. I tried make other document but it also come out with the same result.

I have the same problem with saving large documents in Word

I've tried using different drives and file names and that worked sometimes but today

the problem was constant no matter what.

When I reverted to Word 97 instead of the latest version of Word the document did

save right away. Have tried the repair function but getting an error message

when I select the online version. Hopefully the offline will be enough to correct the issue.

I just tried to save a 4 page essay to my onedrive and the program completely reset.. Lost 2 days worth of work.
