Computer slowed down since installing Office 365

Ever since I installed Office 365, key strokes seem to be slightly slower like there is a slight delay which makes work frustrating.  Any idea why this is and what to do to speed it up.  I also have Word 2003 on my computer.  I am not a tech savvy person.

In order to assist you with the issue related to Office, I need some details:

Does the computer slow down when the Office applications are opened or is it the same even when the application is closed?

 

Start the computer in clean boot and check if the issue persists.

Note: Ensure to restart the computer to normal mode once troubleshooting is completed.

 

Clean boot is performed to disable all start up programs and 3rd party services on the computer and check if they are conflicting with the Office program. If so, you may disable the unwanted software which conflict with the suite or update the same.
