Can't copy and paste

• Are you facing this issue with specific file or with all the files?
• Do you receive any error message?
• What happens when you try to use paste special function?

Try using the paste special function and check if it helps.

In addition to this, create a test file and check if you are able to work with it.

Assuming that you have checked the Customize Keyboard dialog and ascertained that Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V are still assigned to EditCopy and EditPaste, then the likelihood is that the problem is caused by an add-in. One that was a problem in the past was the Skype Click-to-Call add-in, but I believe that add-in has been revised to eliminate the interference. Another culprit was "Send to Bluetooth."

To test, open Word in Office Safe Mode (press Ctrl while starting Word and answer yes when asked about Safe Mode). If the keyboard shortcuts work as expected in that mode, then the indication is that there is a problem with the Normal template, the Registry, the printer driver, or an add-in; in this case, an add-in is the most likely cause.
