What does this button do!?

Hello. I accidentally pressed a button on Microsoft word 2013, and I don't know what it does. Can someone tell me real quick what it's function is? Picture is attached below with arrow pointing to button. It's in the top left corner and on top of the ruler.

Answer
Answer

The button that you have shown will when you click on the horizontal ruler, set the indent of the first line at the position where you click.

If you click on that button again, its function will change to enable the hanging indent to be set by clicking on the ruler

And clicking on it again will take you to first of the various types of tab stops that you can set by clicking on the ruler.  Further clicking, cycles through all of the tab type options and back to the one for the First Line Indent.

Hope this helps,
