Unable to open document. Semicolon expected

Hi i am using Word 2013,

i have tried opening by document but it comes up with this message:

Semicolon expected.

Location: Part: /word/document.xml, Line:2, Column 76062

I just took it to the IT department at university, and they tried to repair it but to no avail.

Any help?

Even I was unable to open the Word document which you have uploaded. The document seems to be corrupt  beyond repair.  

I could open the document in WordPad, however there only two pages.
