Tab leader

Whenever I want to insert a tab leader for my tabs I would click twice on the tabs on the ruler and I would get the tab window to add the leaders but now when I click twice on the tab the tab window doesn't show up anymore now all I get is the page layout window.

please advise if there is a way to restore the two clicks on the tabs to show the tabs window.

regards.

If you want to customize an existing custom tab stop you must carefully double-click the tab stop indicator itself; if you accidentally click on the upper part of the ruler you will get the Page Setup dialog box instead.

You need to have the mouse positioned away from the ends of the ruler (the white part that indicates the space between the margins) and towards the centre, or at least a couple of cm or an inch from the end.  You can also right click in the document and then select paragraph and in the Paragraph dialog that appears, click on the Tabs... button at the bottom left of the dialog.
Hope this helps,
