Retrieving Deleted material in a word doucument.

I was recently writing an article i and accidently click don't save. Is there anyway I can retrieve the deleted material? Thank you for your time concerning this matter.

Sincerely,

Walter

If you didn't save it, there's nothing to retrieve.

If the document has never been saved, look at File tab | Info | Manage Versions | Recover Unsaved Documents. If that doesn't help, you could search Windows for files with the asd extension. However, as Paul wrote, you may very well come up with nothing, assuming that Word terminated normally (that is, it didn't crash).

Under File>Options>Save, do you have a check mark in the box for "Keep the last autosaved version if I close without saving"?

If you don't have that box checked, check it so that you will then be able to retrieve a document that you close without saving (fairly shortly thereafter).

Hope this helps,
