print 2 A5 landscape onto 1 A4 portrait page

How can I print 2 x A5 landscape documents onto 1 A4 Portrait sheet.

I have tried both Word 2013 and Publisher 2013 and used nearly a ream of paper and a huge amount of ink, all to no avail. Every type of layout imaginable came out of the printer but not the one I want which is 2 x A5 landscape documents printed on 1 x A4 portrait sheet. Simples!!

Any ideas anyone???

Hi Stuartnet622,

Based on the description you’re not able to print two A5 pages onto an A4 sheet.

Please refer the suggestions by ‘Suzanne S. Barnhill’ from the following thread link and see if it helps you in resolving this issue:

In the Page Setup dialog, on the Margins tab, set the Orientation to Portrait and from the Multiple pages drop down, select 2 pages per sheet.

The page on which you can enter the text will then actually be equivalent to an A5 landscape page, but when you print, you will get two of them on an A4 portrait page.

Hope this helps,
