I address a number of envelopes on my mailing list with Word 2013.
I remember on previous editions of Microsoft Word I could put the bar code on my envelopes.
How do I do this on Word 2013?
Please advise.
The POSTNET barcode, which is the only kind available in Word, was discontinued by the US Postal Service in January 2013 (http://www.cusi.com/usps-notice-to-discontinue-use-of-postnet-barcode.html). There is no point in having Word print barcodes on envelopes.
The BARCODE field can still be inserted manually through the Insert > Field dialog, but it's no longer available through a check box in the Envelopes dialog (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/897290/en-us).
