I am trying to group some items that I drew in Word 2013. There is not a Format tab to use. I do not have them "in line" with text. I could accomplish this with word 2003 but with 2013 the options have been either removed or hidden so well that I cannot
find them. Please help.
Are these "items" created with the tools in the Insert > Shapes menu? If you click on one to select it, the Drawing Tools > Format tab should appear -- it's present only when a shape is selected.
Even if the tab doesn't appear, you can (by holding Ctrl as you click) select two or more shapes simultaneously, and then right-click any one of them. The Group command will be on the context menu, just below the Paste Options.
