Move line and shapes with keyborad

Hi Shlomo,

Based on the description, you would like to use the keyboard to move the lines and shapes in the Word.

You will be able to do that once you select these items after you insert them in Word.

Holding Ctrl and the arrow keys will these items slowly and using the only the arrows will move the items quickly.

On the Page Layout tab, click Align, and then click Grid Settings. Select "Snap objects to grid when the gridlines are not displayed," specify the desired "Horizontal spacing" and "Vertical spacing" and then click OK.
