Large blank section in my word document (resume)

I downloaded a resume template from MS Office online and everything was going fine until I shared it before reviewing it. I simply looked back at it in View mode and there's a huge blank section where I had deleted a table I didn't need. Now I'm editing it and I am using the "show" selection for my paragraphs.

I really don't know where to go from here.

Answer

You probably selected the table and pressed the Delete key, but that only deleted the text from inside the cells, but the table structure is still there.

If you click in the blank area, does the Table Tools tab appear on the ribbon? If it does, then click the Layout sub-tab. Click the Delete button near the left end of the ribbon, and click Delete Table.

That might leave an empty paragraph where the table was, and you can press the Delete key once to remove that.
