When exactly do you receive the file permission error message? When I  try to save a Word document after trying to add additional information.

 

Also mention the complete error message to help you better. Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error. (C:\...\New (then name of my document)

If I run the fix it says for Windows Update

Comes back

Problems installing recent updates - not fixed

Check for missing or corrupt files - says detected

Some security settings are missing or have been changed - fixed

Service registration is missing or corrupt - fixed
