Change Word defaults (capitalization)

I am sick of Word changing the first character on a new line to a captial letter.  How do I turn off this foolish feature?

When you click the FILE tab in Word 2013, then click the Options item on the left side, the Options dialog opens. The Proofing item is on the left side of the Options dialog. These two pictures show what you should see.

Go to File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options. Clear the check mark from "Capitalize first letter of sentences", and probably also from "Capitalize first letter of table cells".
