Can't create or edit documents, powerpoints. worksheets etc in Office 365.

Hello,
I have purchased (easy), downloaded (easy) and installed (finally done by microsoft support) Office 365 University.
I am having trouble with all the programs.
Word - cannot type any text, cannot do any formatting as the whole thing freezes. I tried opening other documents - they open fine but cannot view the whole document as I cannot scroll to other pages. Editing is not possible either.
I have the same problem with Excel and Powerpoint - have not tried the others.
Please help - I am at my wit's end and am really stressed as I have assignments due soon.

Method: 1

You may repair Office 2013 using the following link and check if Office application works fine:

Note: although the link applies for Office 2010 the steps holds good for Office 2013.

You may try to open Office application in safe mode using the link below and check if it works fine:
