Bought word and it will NOT work.

Every time I try to open my new word, i can get to the welcome screen. As soon as i try to start a blank document or open a word document it instantly crashes. The only thing it says is "word has stopped working, searching for a solution online if one is found we will notify you".

Any help would be appreciated.

If the above step fails, try repairing the installation:

If the repair does not help then run the fix it mentioned in the link below to remove the traces of Office completely from the computer and then try to reinstall the Office program, check if it helps:

Note: Try to save the fix it tool to the desktop and then run it to remove Office.
