i am using windows 7 , 32-bit on my pc.
When i clicked on office 2013 set up file to run it, it says "specified module could not found". What problem is this? and which module is missing...?please suggest a solution.

Hello Prashant,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community. I will provide you the steps to determine the cause of the issue and install the Office 2013 successfully.

Before we proceed I would require some more information to assist you better.

1. What is the exact and complete error message you get when trying to install Office 2013?

2. Do you have previous versions of Office installed on the computer?

Follow these steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue:

Step 1:

Check for multiple/trial version of Office installed on the computer by going to Start, Control panel and Programs and Features. If found you may uninstall them and then try installing Office 2013.

You may also use the Fix it tool to remove the older version of Office installed in the computer from the following article.

For Office 2010:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

For Office 2007:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218

For Office 2003:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2639197

Note: Ensure to save the fix it tool on the desktop and then run the file.

Step 2:

Run the Fix it from the following article to remove all traces of the new Office on the system.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Once the Fix it completes then you install Office 2013 and verify the results.

I hope this fixes the issue. If not, reply and I will be happy to assist you further.

Thank you

Hello i'm Abhishek Ragbotra.

as you said you'av download "ISO Image" of Office Pro Plus.

direct booting from setup.exe

can't read .dll or boot file Module or trace the location of these files from ISO Image file.

So it have two basic Solutions.

Solution Number 1.

Burn This Image file to CD/DVD

and then Install.

Solution Number 2.

Extract This Image to a File Folder

using WINRAR software or any de-compressing software.

then right click on Setup.exe and click on Run as administrator.

then follow the installation instruction and complete your set up.

Thanks. :)

for any Query or you get any problem then mail me on

none of this working and this appears to be an issue with the manner in which the ISO was created on Microsofts side.

I downloaded the 2016 iso 32 first then deleted and tried 64 bit.

The same error message  "the specified module could not be found"

This is beyond exasperating.
