30175-4 when installing

i able able to install it for free because for college, but every time a try this error come up what should i do?

What is the complete error you receive while trying to install the Office suite?

Let's run 'Fix it' from the following article to remove any remains of Office installation and then try installing the Office suite:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501
Note: Save the ‘Fix it’ before running it if you’re working on a 64 bit Windows.

I get the same error. I have deinstalled all older Office versions and deactivated my Firewall on Windows 7, but the problem still persists.

On a plain Windows 8, it works fine. Any ideas?

regarding 1): I have tried both ways (wireless and wired). In both cases, the installation failed.

regarding 2): I am connected to a home network.

Thank you for replying.

Let's manually uninstall the Office suite following instructions mentioned in the article below and then try reinstalling it and verify the result:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501 (Manual steps for uninstalling Office 2013 or
Office 365)

IMPORTANT: Ensure to back up complete registry following steps mentioned below as manual uninstallation involves in deleting the registry entries.

1) Open Registry
a) Hold Windows key + R.
b) Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and
then press Enter:
regedit

2) Back up the registry following below mentioned instruction:

Click on File, Export, name the backup and then click on Save.
Note: Ensure that All is selected in Export range.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks. I have talked to the Microsoft support over several hours today and it took a very long time to fix it.

Finally, an inplace Upgrade of Windows 7 which took several hours solved the problem.

Sorry to interject, I'm having the same issues when trying to run MS OFFICE PRO 2013 at home - once installed, if I try to run ANY of the apps, e.g. OUTLOOK its closes down - should I have deleted MS OFFICE 007 before installing 2013???
