Word 2010 Tables how to lock all column widths?

How to lock all column widths in a Table in Word 2010?

When I type in a column it slides about.

Even when I move the vertical line to required width. Then when I insert a photo in next column, it changes again.

I'm trying to make a card on A5 to be folded.

Answer

When the selection is in the table, go to the Table Tools>Layout tab and then click on Properties in the Table section of the ribbon and in the Properties dialog, click on the Options button on the Table tab and uncheck the box for "Automatically resize to fit contents"

You can set the preferred width for the individual columns on the Column tab of the Tabe Properties dialog.

Hope this helps,
