Word 2010 highlighting will not print

I have gone to file/options/display/show highlighter marks, which is checked and "print background colors and images" is checked also. Can anyone tell me how to print including all highlighting? Thanks.
By saying "including all highlighting", are you saying that some highlighting is being printed?  Is there a difference between what prints and what does not?

Let me help you with the issue.

I would like to know if the highlighting in the document show in Print Preview.

If yes, then you may change the default printer to OneNote or Microsoft XPS writer following the steps from the link below and check if the issue occurs:

If changing the printer works fine. Then you may have to contact your Printer manufacturer for updated drivers.
