I assume that appeared when you were inserting the Product Key and that you did not misread the 2013. If that is what it said, then it would appear that there is a trial version of Office 2013 on the machine.
Remove all traces of it by running the fixit from the following article:
and then try installing Office 2010 again. You will of course need the Product Key for the Office 2010 that you have and I assume that is the one that you are using, and NOT one from a sticker on the bottom of the computer which will be the Product Key
for Windows.
