One document won't print; others OK

One Word 2010 document won't print; others print normally.  A one-page document that I created with Word 2010 is sent to the print queue on command but then is ignored by the printer.  I've tried everything I can think of, including copying the document to a fresh sheet with a new filename, but it remains an outcast.  There is something about this one document that causes the printer to ignore it.  Does anyone have a suggestion that might help?

Save it as a pdf file and then print that.

Or, copy everything except the final paragraph mark and paste it into a new document and try printing that.

I did all of that and it still wouldn't print.  I even hooked up my old printer in case it was the new one.  Nope!  I am sick of this.  I run a home business and my printer is so so so important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you create the PDF? Did you save as PDF from within Word or did you convert it using some other method?

Did the PDF look the way you expected it to after the conversion, and it still didn't print properly?

I actually got it to work last night.  So I called up my HP assistant and updated everything on my computer (also HP) and my printer.  After that, it worked.  This was my old printer.  Now I need to plug in my new printer and see if it is updated.

As to the PDF, I created it within word and NO, it didn't look like a normal PDF.

After you created the PDF, you should have opened it in Adobe Reader, not in Word.

Anyway, I'm glad you got things sorted. It appears that you got the correct updates from HP.

Well, I rebooted my new printer and it still would not print.  Even as a PDF opened in Adobe.  What a bummer!

This helped me find my similar problem - thankyou.

At the very end of the document I had a Page break, but no page visible after this which doesn't make sense of course. I deleted this page break and voila - another 6 pages became visible and the document would then print.
