Need mailmerge fields to singe space not double space

My mail merge brings the lines in but double spaces them.  I have tried setting the whole document to single spacing but is does not change the merged information.  Also, I need lock the columns so the information will always line up under the headers, is there a tutorial to show how to do that?  Thanks Nana from NC

Using the Many to One facility, you should not get Error! No document variable supplied if any of the fields in your data source are empty.  If you are getting such an error, it is for some other reason and if you send me a copy of the documents, I will investigate the issue.

To use the Total somewhere else in your document, select the $0.00 and then insert a bookmark with the name of Total and at the location where you want the Total to appear, insert a cross reference to the text of the Total bookmark.
