Microsoft Word 2010 Multiple Windows

Hello,

My 'problem' will seem trivial but I'd like to know if there's a way around it anyways. I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

When I open a word document, it opens normally (maximised) but if I open another word document while the first one is still open, the second document will open in a smaller, windowed mode (as can be seen in the image attached below).

Is there a way to have every document open maximised by default?

Thanks for your time.

Hello Sergiu,

Do you face this issue when you open a specific Word document?

Are you opening the second Word document from within Word document?

You may follow the steps below and check if Word is set to open in maximized screen:

Click on Start, Programs, Microsoft Office, and Word, right click on it and select Properties.

Under the Shortcut tab, Ensure that the drop down for ‘Run’ is set to Maximized

Thank you.

Hi

This happens when I open any Word document, not a specific one.

I am opening the second word document from the computer. From my desktop.

It tried what you suggested but unfortunately it did not solve my problem.

Thanks.
