In Word 2003 I could have a different first page header & footer, portrait, then landscape, then portrait pages with all page numbers consecutive; how do I do this in Word 2010?
In word 2003 I was able to create documents with portrait pages, then landscape pages, then portrait pages; add a header & footer with a different first page and the page number sequence was continuous throughout the document. How do I create this in Word
2010?
The ability of Word has not changed in that respect.
The change the orientation, you need to insert Section Breaks (via Breaks in the Page Setup section of the Page Layout tab of the Ribbon)
The Headers and Footers are inserted via the Header and Footer items in the Header & Footer section of the Insert tab of the Ribbon.
The Page Numbers can be set to continue from the previous section via the Format Page Numbers item that you can access from the Page Number drop down in the Header & Footer section of the Insert tab of the Ribbon.
