Hyperlinks & Bookmarks in an htm (Web Page) document

I produce a lot of .htm documents via Word 2010.

I have an issue whereby I am linking to another .htm file and to a bookmark within the file e.g.

filename.htm#BOOKMARK

If the bookmark is in all CAPS then 2 things invariably happen. When the document is saved:

1) Word automatically inserts a new paragraph after the hyperlink/bookmark.

2) All the text below the hyperlink/bookmark now contains multiple, multiple hyperlinks. If the document is long there can be hundreds of automatically generated hyperlinks for whole paragraphs.

I am using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Version 14.0.7116.5000 (64 bit) [supplied by the company).

I have searched and searched to see if this has been reported but had no luck.

Can you mention the exact steps you take that lead to the issues?

Also screenshots of the issue would be nice.

Trying to be helpful.

Screenshot 1

Shows text with bookmarks and hyperlinks.

I will be inserting a hyperlink to another file, where SERVPROVIDER. is a bookmark within the file.

Screenshot 2

Shows my input to create the hyperlink.

I then save the document (in this case I saved it to my desktop because otherwise I have a lot of work to remove all the 'dud' hyperlinks).

I exited Word, re-opened Word and recalled my desktop document

Screenshot 3

My new hyperlink on SERVPROVIDER is in blue (as expected).

However:

a) Word automatically started a new paragraph.

b) All the paragraphs now have same link. The link will continue on every paragraph until the next hyperlink it finds.

c) The pattern continues i.e. each new hyperlink causes all the text after it to have the same hyperlink.
