I have a list that has bullets (circles that are entirely black). Under one of these points, I want to put a second-level bullet (I thought a circle that was white inside would appear). Instead, the bullet for that item is full black, just like the first-level
items. Now I saw in Word how to change the form of bullets, but when I changed the form of that second-level item, all the other bullets changed as well. I was sure that Word would automatically provide a different form for these second-level items, just like
on a numbered list, they go from Hindu-Arabic to Roman numerals, to letters.
Solved my own problem. I went into the Insert Ribbon, and clicked on the Symbol options. I found a diamond that suited my purposed. In the document, I put my cursor in front of that bullet I didn't want, deleted it, then inserted my diamond.
Simple but it does what I want. Now its not a real list, but I'll be ok.
