How does one report a Word 2010 Bug?

I have the "work-arounds" for two Word 2010 bugs, one which has done considerable damage, but I would like to report the bugs to Microsoft.  How is that done?

You could post the details here, which would, for a start, let others confirm that they are bugs.

Hope this helps,

I have tried to report a bug using this link:

https://connect.microsoft.com/ and I've gotten nowhere. So here is the problem. Pls send it along to someone who can do something about it.

I'm working on a list of files in a folder. I'm opening and closing each file one by one in order. When I close a file in the list, the last closed file is supposed to appear in a highlighted box in the folder menu. ( I view the folder contents as a List.) Except that is not what happens.

For example:

File 1

File 2

File 3

File 4

File 5

File 6

File 7

These are RTF files that I work on in MS Word 2010.

Open File 1, close, File 1 is highlighted.

Open File 2, close, File 2 is highlighted.

Open File 3, close, File 4 is highlighted.

Open File 4, close, File 5 is highlighted.

Open File 5, close, File 6 is highlighted.

Open File 6, close, File 7 is highlighted.

Pls fix this bug. It's annoying. For the work I do, it's handy to view the last closed file as highlighted--that helps me keep track of what I have completed in the list.

I am experiencing a bug in MS Word 2010. I want to create a macro that searches a document for certain words, and then inserts a bookmark at that point. I  have tried doing it manually and have found two interesting flaws. First if you are recording a macro, you cannot select individual text within a table. Second, if you select text within a table and insert a bookmark, the macro does not record its placement within the document.

One of my employees ran into a Word 2010 bug as well. The bug prevents saving a document or rather saves a zero byte doc with no content. After this bug caused the loss of two entire SOP documents, I was able to clipboard transport the content of a document with the bug to a new document. The bug exhibited in the new doc. We opened a known good document, saved it to a temporary file and replaced content with content from clipboard, bug exhibited. Down-reved suspect content to Word 2003 and the document saved normally. Tried to up-rev to Word 2010 and the bug exhibited. <I think it is a persistent formatting bug> We saved the 2003 version of the document with the content containing the bug to a flash drive and moved it to a different computer. Opened the file, tried to save in Word 2010 and the bug exhibited. We removed all protection from the document and the bug still exhibits. I have therefore, a document that is completely unprotected, saved in Word 2003 format that will exhibit this bug when anyone attempts to save it in 2010 format. This may be the easiest, nasty MS Office bug to isolate and fix because it is very transportable and most of the isolation work has already been done. Who can I send this file to for analysis and fix of the bug?

Not a product bug, but an error in the UK dictionary:

Dietitian is missing, but Dietician (which is a typo!) is considered valid!
