How do I mail merge percentages from excel?

I have Microsoft Office 2010 and during a mail merge I am unable to transfer percentages. I've tried multiple things. With the dynamic data exchange, it deletes my percentage fields and when I try to re add them they are no longer on the list. When trying to change the code through SHIFT-F9 and adding \# 00.00 the percent is displayed as .03% instead of 3%. When I change the code from {={MERGEFIELD "Data"}*100\#0%} I get an error.

Your data then is 5.8512 which was truncated in Excel and displayed as percent?

Do you want it truncated in Word as well? The pictures will do that. Remember, though, the full number is there if you do any field math.

When I put that data in your field I get 585%.

With your first picture, I get 585.12%.

Without the multiplication I get 05.85%.

No error codes. You will get an error code if you leave out the space before the picture code or leave out the backslash.

What is your number in Excel (unformatted in Excel)?

When I use your code on data that is .03, I get 3%.

It looks like you have that down, though.
