How do I get Microsoft Office 2010 to open downloaded documents?

I have had microsoft office on my pc before and it worked perfectly. Since I have done a system restore and re-installed microsoft office, it won't open any downloaded documents. how do I get it to do this?

Take a look at the File Block Settings under File>Options>Trust Center

 

Have you saved the documents to the local drive?

 

In Windows Explorer, try right clicking on a file that you downloaded and select Properties and on the General tab, click on ther Unblock button and then try and open the document.
