I have a 2,000+ page document which uses highlighting for specific texts. I want to make the document available to others, but want to remove the highlighting first. When I attempt to select the entire text and NO COLOR the document does not change existing
highlighting. It actually makes the highlighting unchangeable. When I use the same feature on specific texts it works for two times then freezes the highlighting also. I think the length of the DOCX may be part of the problem. Got any ideas?
Have you tried using Find and Replace? Press Ctrl+H to display the dialog box. Click More to see all options. Click in the "Find what" box. Don't type anything. Click Format and then select Highlight. You'll see "Format: Highlight" listed below "Find what."
Click in the "Replace with" box and apply Highlight twice; you'll see "Format: Not Highlight" below the "Replace with" box. Click Replace All.
