Thank you for posting this question in the Microsoft Community.
As I understand you’re facing issue working with Excel.
Follow these steps and check if it helps:
Step 1: Try Working in Excel safe and check if it helps.
To know how to start Outlook in Safe mode, follow the steps below.
Go to Start > Copy and paste the following command line in the‘Search programs and files’ box and Press Enter.
Excel /safe
For Word:
Winword /safe
If Excel safe works as expected, disable the add-ins as suggested below:
Note: In case you are facing the issue with the Microsoft Word as well, try disabling the add-ins for Word as well.
Step 2: Clear the Excel Startup folder.
Clear the files from Excel startup folders from the locations mentioned below:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\XLStart
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
Note: Take a backup of files before deleting the files.
