footnotes text orientation in Hebrew based Word

I use the Hebrew based Word 2010, but write in English (and have left-to-right orientation in my main text). However, when I insert a footnote it starts from right to left. I can change every footnote, but can't find a way to make them to have left to right orientation from the beginning.

Thanks. I work in English but it doesn't help.
These links don't help. It's not an issue of a separator but of the entire footnote orientation.

Since you are running a version that supports both left-to-right and right-to-left, there should be an option somewhere to change the default text direction. For example, try modifying the Normal style or the Footnote Text style.

None of the above suggestions worked.

When the cursor is on the footnote, I try to change the LTR setting through the Footnote Text Style dialogue box. It shows it's left-to-right but those buttons are disabled and I can't access them. The style is based on the Normal style which is right-to-left.

What do I do now? How can I get to it?
