footers lost in redline

When I do a redline in word 2010, the footer (such as version6/date shows up in redline on monitor but is deleted in printing (meaning prints out as "version5" with no reflection of the redline. This has happened before and I could never fix. Something embedded?

The screen shot would only show the normal redline of "v5" with a line going through the 5 and a red 6 next to it. Just as you would expect. But it prints out without the change. That's the issue.

In any case, can you tell me re "screenshots", when I need to do that, I go to print screen and copy on to a blank word or WP document--it is always compressed and almost unreadable, so I have to go to view/zoom and increase to max 200% which is slightly improved, then I print out, and scan and send if necessary. I gather there may be a better way to show someone your screen?

Are you using Word's built-in Track Changes feature or some third-party solution?
