I get this error when I open Word 2010 32 bit.
O/S Win 8 64bit.

Mention the complete error message that you receive when you launch Word.

Do you get this error message when you open other Office applications?

 

Let us open Word in its application safe,

Hit Windows key on the keyboard, and start typing winword /safe (Note: There is a space between winword and /).

 

If the application works fine safe mode, try disabling the add ins for the application and check the result,

  • Click the File tab.
  • Go to Options.
  • Click Add-ins.
  • Select or clear the options that you want.

Provide us the details and let us know the results.
